Search engine giant Google is visiting Geelong this month, thanks to Geelong online marketing company GOOP Digital and its affiliate Titan Digital, a premier Google partner.
GOOP Digital and Titan Digital will introduce Geelong to Google as part of a Digital Marketing Lab project to help businesses understand digital marketing and use it to their advantage.
Google strategic partner manager Fernanda Rivera will meet representatives from Enterprise Geelong, Geelong Chamber of Commerce and civic leaders on March 29, the day after speaking to businesses attending the Digital Marketing Lab session at the Novotel Geelong on March 28.
Fernanda, who has worked at Google for more than four years and has a marketing degree, an MBA from University of South Florida and an Executive Education Diploma from Harvard Business School on Big Data, has almost a decade’s experience in digital advertising. Before joining the Google team she worked at Turner Broadcasting and Yahoo and will share her experience with Geelong businesses.
Titan Digital’s head of strategic development John Boseley will join Fernanda in Geelong. A sales and marketing professional with more than three decades of experience, John has worked with leading international businesses and has spent 20 years in the online arena.
GOOP Digital managing director Karl Morris will join the duo for the Geelong presentations.
The Digital Marketing Lab is a project of Google and Titan Digital to help businesses identify gaps and opportunities in their online marketing strategies.
The project aims to cut through digital jargon and share real-world, easy-to-implement ideas that will help future-proof businesses and generate high-quality leads in the most time-and-cost-effective methods available today.
GOOP Digital and Titan Digital invite Geelong and district businesses to attend the Digital Marketing Lab at the Novotel Geelong on March 28, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Admission is free but places are limited and registration is essential.
