This month on social media and the GOOP blog, we’ve been focusing on what blog authorship is and how it benefits your website. Blog authorship is a Google feature and is available to GOOP clients who have a Google+ profile and WordPress website. Recognising the benefits of this feature for our clients, we created a set-up service to make the process faster for small business owners, who we know to be time-poor! What’s happening?
GOOP Managing Director Karl Morris has been visiting clients in Ballarat and Bendigo on Mondays and Thursdays. Many of our earliest clients are based in these regional towns and it has been great catching up with them to touch base in regards to their online marketing plans. The clients Karl has been visiting have been with GOOP for years and during this time technology has evolved. As an online marketing business we have also evolved and now offer different products such as responsive web design and WordPress websites. Karl’s mission has been to make sure the product these clients have still works for their business by sitting down, looking at their Google Analytics and helping clients make decisions based on this data. Komo Metform Engineering is a new client who engaged GOOP to build a responsive website that works on mobile, tablet and desktop devices. Komo Metform Engineering is based in Melbourne, providing custom metal fabrication for commercial and industrial clients. Their range of services include press braking, guillotining, laser cutting, plasma cutting, metal rolling and more.
We’d like to commend Komo Metform Engineering on their initiative in hiring a commercial video production company – The Tribe – in Geelong to produce a professional-quality video to embed on their website. The video shows their large-scale metal fabrication services in progress and has their logo overlayed throughout, generating brand awareness and demonstrating the scope of their work. The video was uploaded to YouTube and embedded on the website, something which will benefit the website’s visibility in Google due to YouTube being a Google product.
